JHS Clover Box V2 Preamp Effects Pedal...
In early 1984, BOSS released two quirky new devices under the name of "Pocket Series".
One of the Pocket series is the "FA-1" preamplifier that uses FETs, and U2's The Edge
carried it around as equipment for recording and touring "Unforgettable Fire", making it a
legendary equipment in history. It was decided to carve it. The Clover Preamp / Booster is
a faithful profile of the FA-1, but with new features added to make the great original model
even better. No gig can't live without this happy clover!
The Clover has four standard controls and one rotary switch. The Volume control can also be
set to boost the unity gain, amp or distortion pedal, etc. It has three EQ controls, Bass, Mid, and
Treble, and by powerfully cutting / boosting each of them, you can create a very wide range of
sounds. The rotary switch has three modes: Full EQ, No Mid, and No EQ. At Full EQ, all three
EQ controls operate, and you can control all the bands covered by the EQ. No Mid is a setting
that accurately reproduces the original FA-1, the Mid control is disabled, and the setting is fixed.
No EQ disables all EQs and can be used as a simple FET booster to boost your amp. A Low Cut
DIP switch is mounted on the right side of the housing. If you have a boomy sound, you can use
this switch to cut low frequencies.
In addition to the standard 1/4 "monophone in / out, it also features an XLR out that is useful as a
preamp for acoustic guitars and basses. Each jack can be used individually or simultaneously, so
the amp The Clover's XLR output is an excellent preamp designed for use with acoustic instruments
and basses, with a wide range of sound controls. It is possible. It also has a ground lift switch in case
hum noise occurs due to the ground loop when using the XLR out.
The Clover is the best preamp / booster developed for any electric / acoustic guitar or bass player.
A simple and powerful EQ makes it easy to create great sounds. The Clover will be an indispensable
tool even when combined with various play styles and amps. It's also great as a preamp / booster boost
for use with distortion pedals, but it's also magical, especially when you want to add a natural overdrive
to your tube amp. Magic lies in the natural overdrive you get by boosting the input to your tube amp. The
EQ can be precisely aligned to the point where you can easily get the natural overdrive of your amp.
Plug it in front of a small, low-wattage amp for natural, rich overdrive / distortion, and plug it into a larger,
more powerful amp for a sound you've never heard before. Players who use Stratocasters and Telecasters
will
get punch, depth and dynamics that cannot be achieved in the normal state, and players who use Les Pauls
and humbuckers will get clarity and bite. It contributes to the creation of bass for all sounds, from country,
rock, metal to acoustic. Discover the lucky and unforgettable tone of The Clover. Find the best unforgettable
sound with The Clover!
